Claudia Sjoberg
Claudia Sjoberg is the Founder and CEO of Pedalheads, North America’s leader in children’s bike, swim, and soccer programs. For nearly four decades, she has dedicated her career to helping kids gain confidence, independence, and a lifelong love of activity through fun, safe, and enriching programs. Recognized nationally for her entrepreneurial vision and community leadership, Claudia has received numerous accolades, including the Telus Trailblazer Award at the RBC Canadian Women of Influence Entrepreneur Awards, the Veuve Clicquot Bold Canadian Business Woman of the Year distinction, the Board of Trade’s Wendy Macdonald award for Entrepreneurial Innovation and BC Business Women of the Year award..
Beyond her business achievements, Claudia is deeply engaged in community work. She volunteers with organizations such as Cedar Cottage Neighbourhood House, The Vancouver Fringe Festival Mom 2 Mom Networks and Union Gospel Mission, where she advocates for inclusivity, empathy, and connection. Her approach to leadership reflects her belief that real progress begins when we show up for others and stay open to learning from diverse perspectives. Claudia is known for her hands-on leadership style- she can lead a strategy meeting in the morning and help take down event signage by the afternoon. At her core, Claudia believes that true leadership is not about power or prestige, but about elevating others, fostering trust, and creating a vision people believe in. Through Pedalheads and her community work, she continues to inspire both her team and the next generation to lead with heart, purpose, and courage.
