Danielle Skipp
Danielle is a Private Equity Strategy CEO pursuing a national expansion strategy in the Canadian wealth management sector. She couples her passion for innovative and creative business strategies with her legal and leadership skills cultivated through many roles covering 25+ years as a working professional and entrepreneur. Ms. Skipp is an energetic and brave leader who works hard every day to lead with both wisdom and compassion. One of Danielle’s favorite expressions is “A rising tide lifts all boats” and she chooses to work in teams for joy and impact. Danielle is a passionate advocate of financial independence for women. In 2022, she brought to life Nicola Wealth’s Women’s LEAD initiative, a grassroots effort to amplify and celebrate the voices and stories of women across Canada creating community and driving connections. In the community, Danielle is a past-Chair of 100 Women in Finance Canada.
In April 2020 she was appointed by the province to serve on University of Toronto Governing Council and in 2024 she joined the Campaign Cabinet to support fundraising efforts for a new state-of-the-art patient and surgical tower at University Health Network’s (UHN) Toronto Western Hospital. Danielle also sits on the board of directors of Ridge Canada Cyber Solutions, a leading expert in specialty insurance and the board of directors of The Forum, a national charity with a mission to launch and help scale women entrepreneurs. Danielle received an LL.B from the University of British Columbia and is called to the bar in both British Columbia and Ontario.
