Julie Bogle | Chair
Julie Bogle is a partner at Borden Ladner Gervais LLP (BLG) — Lawyers | Patent & Trademark Agents | BLG, and a member of the corporate and capital markets group and the digital assets group. She helps public and private companies in connection with mergers & acquisitions, go-public transactions, corporate financing (both public offerings and private placements) and corporate reorganizations. Julie represents a growing number of technology companies with a niche advising digital asset companies, and she serves on the BC Securities Commission Fintech Advisory Forum. She is the founder of the Driven by Women initiative, and is dedicated to helping more women succeed in leadership roles.
Julie previously served as a director for Gathering Voices Society, a charity that works with First Nations to implement traditional knowledge systems to help land and resource management, and was on the board of governors for the University of Calgary from 2007-2009. Julie has a Juris Doctor, Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Calgary.
